Trainspotting was 2nd. All his film had this weird hallucinating scenes. I guess that is his trademark. I agree. This is a good movie... but he can do a better one.Mohd Diah Mcdee Abdullahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09977629500446030480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3164805258628400279.post-70968538491832414492011-03-17T20:14:54.480+08:002011-03-17T20:14:54.480+08:00i felt the movie was splendid! I still like King's Speech more, but I felt this story is well done given the limited premise of the story (Guy stuck in a canyon for 5 days, cuts his arm. End scene.)mellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18017660567811088174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3164805258628400279.post-38039856728825954262011-03-17T20:09:19.340+08:002011-03-17T20:09:19.340+08:00This comment has been removed by the author.w4shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08561483158874790910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3164805258628400279.post-76118350865617948722011-03-16T22:17:55.871+08:002011-03-16T22:17:55.871+08:00"A farewell to arm"? One of the things he said that stuck with me was:

"I think your best film is your first film, because you have no idea what you're doing, you're uncertain, you tend to just go for it. I've decided that I would jump genres every time because then it's like every time you make a new film, it's your first one." (Paraphrased.)

... Incidentally, the other thing he said that stuck with me was:

"Oh I absolutely adore Michelle Yeoh. I gave her the script and asked her to pick which character she wanted, and she said, the botanist." (Paraphrased.)McGarmotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08100492626536604356noreply@blogger.com
